The Ortiz Plaza Family Apartments project involved the construction of 32 two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom apartments, laundry facilities, management office, kitchen, picnic area, community gardens, and a recreation area. The apartments were built to support the area’s low-income farmworkers who are an important part of the regions wine-making industry. The area has a shortage of low-income housing options so the completion of the Ortiz Plaza couldn’t come any sooner!
