Sequoia Village honors the sustainable design elements incorporated into site design by preserving five beautiful sequoia trees at the project gateway. Residential units were designed and constructed using sustainable building practices. Bio-retention areas treat parking lot stormwater runoff and impervious surfacing provides a community gathering area between the community center and community garden. Roof runoff is treated with raised planter areas boasting herbs and edible plants. The development is located near public transportation and offers onsite bicycle storage.
